New England Patriots vs Buffalo Bills 1pm EST
Today's game should another tough grind out game for the Pats. I really don't like their chances.
Vince Wilfork and Ty Warren are out. The run stuffers won't be in and that will allow the Bills to run and open up their already good passing game. The Bills have come a long way since they started the season. It will be incumbent for the Pats to slow down the Bills pass. And since they don't have much of a pass rush, its going to be very very hard.
It just seems like too many key players are banged up.
Tom Brady has got some rib and finger injuries to deal with and playing in the frigid cold won't help. Expect plenty of the running game and Lawrence Maroney. He'll be the key to the offense. If he can get some good yards, the Pats should be able to score. The Bills pass defense is great. They have intercepted a ton of passes. However, their run defense is one of the worse. If the Pats can't run the ball, it will be a long day.
The offensive line will have to protect Tom from Arron Schobel. He has sacked Tom the most in his career. Matt Light better be on the top of his game. Or at least Volmer has to be.
And will Randy show up this week? And lets hope Wes can keep going.
Can the Pats defense slow down the pass happy Bills? The Harvard kid can certainly get the ball to TO. It just scares me to think the Pats corners are going to get eaten up by him. Uggh.
Throw on top of it the Pats road woahs, I just don't have a good feeling for this game. The Pats have had a crappy year and I don't see it getting too much better. I hope I'm totally wrong.
Go Pats!!!

New England Patriots vs Carolina Panthers 1pm EST
The Pats just seemed to be stumbling through the last part of this season. The guys just don't seem to have it. There are too many distractions as well.
Adalius Thomas is causing problems. I am guessing he'll be cut at the end of the season. There is uncapped year next season so it won't hurt as much.
Whats most glaringly apparent is the Pats have lost the clutch play. The used to get all the little plays to keep drives going or score or stop an opponent from scoring etc., It just seems to have gone the other way now. Everything that could go wrong has. Its been hard to pinpoint what exactly is the cause.
Maybe the massive loss of veteran leadership has not helped. And those leaders might have prevented some of the distractions too.
The Pats are still in the playoffs even with all these problems. They are still too good to not be in these last four games. They really should win all these games. Will they have any motivation to though?
The Pats offense seems to score in bunches in the first half and then disappear in the second. Hopefully this trend will stop but I doubt it. Maybe its just stuck in their head now. Its frustrating to watch. Maybe the return of Fred Taylor will help. The running game has been lackluster. And it just makes it easier for opponents to defend Moss and Welker.
Throw in a less than healthy Tom Brady, and it just doesn't look good. Tom should play today but how well will he be with a rib and finger injury? hmm
The defense has played well at times but has also be exposed too. Teams are passing far too easy and the Pats linebackers aren't getting enough of a rush on opponent's quarterbacks. The run defense is still good but if you can easily pass against the Pats, why bother running?
Delome will not be playing today. I'm not sure if that will be a good or bad thing. He has not played really well this season. Can the Pats defense stop the Panthers?
The weather conditions do favor the Pats today. It'll be cloudy and cold at game time with a chance of rain. Hmm Hopefully some home cooking will turn the Patriots around. Otherwise, pack it in, and call it a season.
Go Pats!!!
